Workshop Scope
This workshop aims at introducing mathematical modelling in operations research and algorithms, as well as various practical applications from combinatorial optimization, machine learning, game theory, dynamic programming and so on. It would also like to provide a discussion forum for local and international participants, especially graduate students and young scholars.
After the success of the past two years’ summer workshops, we would like to have more missions, in addition to technical talks, including international cooperation between East Asian universities, which seems quite challenging in this post-Covid era. This year we thus invite eight foreign scholars to share the latest development and their recent research results. The technical talks may also include preliminary theoretical materials and possible real-world applications. Moreover, a panel discussion on open problems and research trends will be included. We hope you will enjoy the event!
Workshop Content & Format
This workshop not only provides a platform to collect recent advances in all areas of operations research and algorithms, but also highlights key challenges and open problems. The technical invited talks and the panel discussion will cover both the latest research results and surveys on specific problems. We also call for abstracts that can be based on their original results (already or not yet published), ongoing research, or open problems, related to the theme of the workshop. The objective is to bring together scholars from different countries in East Asia and promote more interactions and collaborations between their communities.
